(1) Open Excel 2007 and click on the Microsoft Office Button in the top left corner (2) Click the Excel Options tab at the bottom (3) Select Trust Center (4) Select Trust Center Settings (5) Click the radio button next to "Disable all macros with notification" (6) Close Excel Now when Limb Volumes Professional is run Excel will tell you it contains macros and ask if you want to enable. Select the option to enable Q. Where do I enter the patient's identifying information? A. The patient's name and id number are initially entered on the PATIENT page. Q. How do I save a patients data file? A. To save the patient's data file use the SAVE AS option on the tool bar. This is done by first choosing FILE on the upper left of the toolbar then choosing SAVE AS. For example if the patient's name is Smith Mary, you could save her file as MarySmith in a Folder you have set up called MyPatients. You may save the file by ANY identifier that you choose and to ANY folder that you choose. You do not have to use the patient's name or id as entered in the PATIENT page. The choice is yours. Q. How do I recall a patient's data file for a follow-up visit or to review? A. You can use the FILE OPEN option directly from the tool bar. To do this first select FILE on the upper left of the toolbar then choose OPEN. When the window opens highlight the patient file in your MyPatients folder that you wish to to retrieve. You can also retrieve any file by using the explorer feature of windows and double clicking on the desired patient file. Q. The foot option is active if on the PATIENT page you select a lower extremity case AND you choose to include the foot option for this patient. Q. The columns you enter the data depends on whether you have chosen the circumference or width-depth method The page called HAND provides you with storage of all hand measurements that you have entered in case you want these later. You do not enter data in HAND. Q. What do I do if I have a computer hard drive failure or I have to replace a computer? Can I simply re-install my software in the new hard drive or computer? A.
